Examining iEARN Language Arts projects
The video and a panoramic view of the various iEARN projects give me a lot of food for thoughts. They emphasis numerous benefits of iEARN‘s wide-ranging projects by engaging collaboratively through the different writing activities. These benefits may include:
-improving writing skills, as there is a real audience at hand
-The gain of knowledge about the other cultures
- Learning effectively high order thinking skills
-Building understanding and respect, and tolerance of the cultures into play
- Opportunity to embark upon several topics, issues that matter to participants
-Giving opportunities for motivating students to learn in non-threatening environment
It is fully understood that all age groups of students have a chance to find their suitable projects. However, I would like to know if it is possible to create more projects that are different. On what basis are the moderators of projects selected? Are the participating students in the project rewarded, maybe given a certificate of participation or credits on their achievement?

Better Late than Never
Hello everybody,
Strange that I can't view the video without cuts, yet I could have an idea about the content as a whole.
I share course mates' ideas and I would add that iEARN with the variety of projects is a form of intercultural exchange and school linkages program that enables the future generation to develop social skills and critical thinking as they get engaged in a life long education.
