Dear Tubi,
You have done a good wok.
Your answers were detailed and easy to comprehend.
I like your quote “He is wise who always strives to find a right balance in everything: the right degree, how far, how much, how little, where on the scale the right answers lies."
You are summarizing the real meaning of assessment and the role of teachers in the classroom. What’s more, it can be extended to everyday life. Assessment is the spices of teaching and learning.

Dear all,
Assessment of student work
• * *How will the appropriateness of student work be evaluated?
My evaluation has always been varied in the classroom. Therefore, it will take the form of formative and informative assessment. Through checking their submitted emails, both in form and contents, I will supply positive comments to encourage them and involve reluctant students in the forum.
• ** How will you assess the student work? I will use a rubric that students have to respect so as their emails and contributions would be submitted. I will handle the students’ expectation effectively. Their anxiety to join the forum should be minimized.
• In the introduction stage of the project? I will do my best to show them the benefits they will have in taking part in the projects and encourage them to sign the buddy-contract. I would make emphasis that the project is a continuation to the classroom for those who would like to further improve their skills and knowledge.
• In the implementation of the project? Checking the forum and reading the students contribution to provide helpful comments. Here, I will be using the Socratic method of teaching. I will be asking students a variety of questions to put them the right track of the projects. Students will have the opportunity to talk to their classmates about the projects.
• In conclusion of the project? Students will give short presentations about the projects. Access to the internet will be used to give a better picture about the projects and focus on the importance of this global opportunity. There will be peer-evaluation. Students will comment about their friends’ contribution. Students will talk about achievements.

@ Abdesalam@
Your assessment is clear and effective. Assessment using Internet is a significant way of assessing and students get a better picture about the projects as you mentioned.
Wish you all the best

Dear all,
What is noticed is that the second assignment is a repeat ion of the first one. It could have been better to give another question that would generate more ideas, or would a review of any aspects of iEARN concept.
I would like to comment and provide some feedback for my colleagues, but it seems that I would be duplicating myself. The first question needs some reading and meditating, whereas the second one, I do it because it is one of the requirements.

Hello Abdesalam,
I totally agree with you, It is kind of repeat of the first assignment, but as you see week 7 is over maybe the facilitators would use your suggestion for future participants.
Regards,
Sheikha
